Season end is Sunday 27th October (no more sailings until Saturday 4th April 2020) - sailings will be weather dependent.

Weekend sailings only from Monday 9th September

No weekday sailings will be available from the 9th September.

 

The Big Dog Ferry runs between Beccles Lido and the Locks Inn, Geldeston. It is a relaxing 3 mile boat journey along the River Waveney with the opportunity to enjoy the wildlife en-route inluding otters, kingfishers and marsh harriers. Disembark and enjoy a meal, a drink or the music at The Locks Inn (www.geldestonlocks.co.uk), or stay on board for a round trip. If you’re feeling energetic you could take a one-way ticket and walk back on delightful footpaths - why not visit Maisebrooke Farm in Shipmeadow? We also collect and drop off in Geldeston at the Marina or Three Rivers Campsite. Geldeston has lots of attractions including the Wherry Inn and Mandy’s famous pickles! We accept well behaved dogs
